Information for September 2023 Entry

For students who wanted to find out more about joining us in September 2023 we held our Open Evening on Wednesday 22nd June 2022. 

Please dont worry if you weren't able to attend, you can find out more about what Comberton Sixth Form has to offer in the following ways:

How to Apply

As a member of the Cambridge Area Partnership (CAP), students wishing to apply should use MyChoice16 to make an application online at mychoice16.co.uk

Students currently attending a CAP school will have the post-16 application process introduced to them by their teachers and will be helped at every stage.

Students not currently attending a CAP school and who would like to apply should also use the online application system at mychoice16.co.uk.

Transport

There are a range of options for getting to Comberton Sixth Form but in the majority of cases students are responsible for organising and paying for their transport. Detailed information about all of the ways you can get to us, can be found here.

In order to ensure students can travel to Comberton Sixth Form we will be operating 10 bus routes covering the following areas:

St Neots area

This bus starts in Little Paxton and covers St Neots (Market Square and Cambridge St/Longsands Rd), Eynesbury, and Abbotsley.

Potton area

This bus starts in Potton and covers Gamlingay, Warseley and Lt Gransden.

Great Gransden

This bus picks up at various locations in Gt Gransden only

Royston area

This bus starts in Royston and covers Melbourn, Meldreth, Shepreth, Foxton, Barrington, Orwell, Little & Great Eversden and Kingston.

Bassingbourn area

This bus starts in Bassingbourn and covers Litlington, Steeple & Guilden Morden, Croydon, Arrington, Caxton, Lower & Great Cambourne, Bourn Broadway and Bourn.

Swavesey area

This bus starts in Longstanton and covers Northstowe, Willingham, Over, Swavesey, Fen Drayton, Fenstanton, Papworth, Hilton and Hardwick.

Cambourne area

This bus starts at Great Cambourne and covers Bourn turn, Childerley and Caldecote. There is also the option of the Stagecoach 18 service, which is detailed below.

Sawston area

This bus starts in Sawston and covers Stapleford, the Shelfords, Hauxton, Harston, Haslingfield and Harlton. 

Girton area

This bus starts in Bar Hill and covers Girton, Oakington and Dry Drayton.
