Making an application

As a member of the Cambridge Area Partnership (CAP), students wishing to apply should use MyChoice16 to make an application online at mychoice16.co.uk

Students currently attending a CAP school will have the post-16 application process introduced to them by their teachers and will be helped at every stage.

Students not currently attending a CAP school and who would like to apply should also use the online application system at mychoice16.co.uk, registering and setting up their own account.

Application timeline 2025-2026

Wednesday 25th June 2025	Comberton Sixth Form Open Evening
December 2025/January 2026	Complete your application form with help from your school
13th January 2026	Deadline for applications to reach post-16 providers
February & March 2026	Interviews take place
Easter 2026	Offers are made
June 2026	Welcome Event
August 2026	Confirm your place after you receive your GCSE results
August 2026	Two-day post-results advice & guidance surgeries
September 2026	Term starts for Year 12
